Subject: Help with lyrics From: Date: 02 Dec 98 - 08:30 PM There was a song sung in the movie "Foxfire" called "Dear Lord." I believe it was written by Hume Cronyn and Susan Cooper. If anyone can help me find the words to this song, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Lyle |

(There were other movies with the same title.) Hume Cronyn and Susan Cooper wrote the play it was based on; then Susan Cooper wrote the film adaptation. I did find some biographical information about Hume Cronyn that said he wrote the lyrics to 3 songs that appeared in that movie: DEAR LORD; SWEET TALKER; and MY FEET TOOK T'WALKING. I was unable to find any lyric quotes, sound samples, or information about any recordings. |
