Subject: RE: Lyric Add: Lullabye Of London From: Bert Date: 24 Nov 98 - 03:39 PM Hi, The Fenian, Where did you get that one? Reminds me of when I lived in Forest Gate as a child. We were right across the road from 'The Eagle and Child' and us kids had the front room upstairs. Saturday nights we used to sit at the window and watch the drunks (sorry, happy revellers) going home at chucking out time. Bert |

Subject: RE: Lyric Add: Lullabye Of London From: Barbara Date: 24 Nov 98 - 09:32 PM The Anne Lister Lullaby I just posted to DIck and Susan's Christmas Gift Thread, is a bit different even though it starts off sounding like a Rockaby baby fairy tale standard. I love the last line: "Rockaby baby until it is morning, "You'll find life's not quite like this, this is a warning." Blessings, Barbara |
