I've done a midi of the tune and posted it on my Irish midi page at... http://www.contemplator.com/tunebook/scotmidi/alandale.htm. If you download a shareware midi sequencing package called Noteworthy from http://www.ntworthy.com you will be able to print, play and transpose the notation.

There's a midi of this with words in the DT, but check under different spelling Rose of Allandale. Also for author, date written, history, backround & many versions do a forun search using your same spelling Lyrics for Rose of Allenadle, Ja.n 27 98. Barry
