Subject: the brave engineer From: Basil Harris Date: 16 Oct 98 - 11:53 AM My grandfather used to be a trucker and he always sang a song about a brave engineer. It started "On a cold winter's night, not a star was in sight". He recently had a stroke and can't remember the third verse. The one he sang is different from the one in the printed lyrics. It had one line about a needle in a haystack. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it. Basil |
