Subject: How Can I Copy Text into a Thread? From: Ewan McV Date: 28 Sep 98 - 10:48 AM There are computer tricks I can do, and computer tricks I can't do (yet). I want to paste in previously typed lyrics to a thread, rather than have to type them on line. Copy and Paste does not work. What does do the trick? |

Subject: RE: How Can I Copy Text into a Thread? From: Allan C. Date: 28 Sep 98 - 01:24 PM Try - Control A, to highlight the text then Control C to copy the text. Then when your cursor is placed and clicked in the area you want the text to go, use Control V. |

It Works On "HTTP://www" addresses also. There is little chance of mistyping a link. |

You type <br> once, and then you highlight and copy it (ctrl-c), and then paste it (ctrl-v) wherever you want it. Even better is to use "replace" to put the line breaks in your text while it's still in your word processor. Click here for more hints on HTML and posting messages. -Joe Offer- |
