G'day,
A new version of MIDItext is available here. This should solve the problem that users of Noteworthy Composer were having, i.e. the short gaps that Noteworthy was placing between some notes were being interpreted as rests. Technically, this was correct but not what was intended. The solution was to remove all rests from the ABC output which I don't see as a problem with song melodies. The MIDI part is unchanged and reproduces MIDI exactly as played.

Note that you will really be beta testing this version as I've not had a chance to test it extensively. Let me know how it goes.
