Robin, I started a new thread for You'll Get No More of Me and posted what I could understand of the lyrics there. When you start a thread, it's best to give it a specific name. Generic thread names like "Lyrics Needed" tend to get lost in the shuffle.

Hey, Joe, you posted this at exactly the same time that I took a stab at the words in the other thread. Now if the Bar were open, we could go in for a cup of Java and talk it over.

"Willow bough" sounds good to me, Dale. You've got a good ear. You know, it's a good exercise to be challenged to post lyrics here. I have two recordings of this song, and I never paid any attention to it until Robin posted the request. It's a good song, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to become acquainted with it.

That's right, Joe. Good exercise, challenging, rewarding, and I come out knowing the words better than I usually do. Now I am getting set to listen to Ted Daffan.
