Subject: Chieftans? From: jamas@gil.com.au Date: 17 May 97 - 10:40 PM I've been trying to get the lyrics to "Killibegs" by the Chieftans but I've had no luck to-date. A couple of people have indicated that they might be able to supply them - but to date, the lyrics have still not appeared. If anyone can help (by posting the lyrics - not just "I think I know them" - and never to be heard from again} I would very much appreciate it. Tony |

The entire CD is surely a keeper. Talk about "crossover." It was a cross-over for the Chieftains, but it was more of a "homecoming" for folks joining up with them. Them roots gits pretty tangled after a generation or two.
Two quite different songs have been confused in this thread.
