One of the purposes of this discography is to collect information for the American Vintage Record Labellography, a project to catalog every 78 R.P.M. record ever made in the U.S. on a CD-ROM database. Obviously large institutional collections are somewhat weak in the area of risque comedy and it falls to the many collectors who have a few of these curiosities somewhere in the recesses of their shelves (or basements, attics, garages) to fill in the missing items. The author wishes to thank the following collectors who have taken time away from their regular pursuits to provide information: Mike Biel, Charles Cage, Mark Cantor, Mike Csontos, John R. T. Davies, Warren Debenham, James Finch, George Gimarc, Cary Ginell, David Goldenberg, Richard Green, David Hall, Barry Hansen, Alex & Sara Hassan, Tom Hawthorn, Rodger Holtin, Joe Lichtman, Angie Loper, Kurt Nauck, Graham Newton, Konrad Nowakowski, Doug Pomeroy, Steve Ramm, Jack Raymond, Anthony Rotante, Howard Rye, Paul Stamler, Jeff Willens, and Barry Walters.
