Tammy and Tommy looked around and saw Laurie's mother over near the sandbox.
They ran over to her and told her what had happened. She picked up Laurie and
ran back with them to help. Their mother was sitting on the ground, holding
onto her ankle.
While Mrs. Williams helped their mother to stand up, Laurie looked up at the
twins. Then, slowly, they all walked back to Tommy and Tammy's house. As the
children walked along, Laurie said, "Me play sandbox, Tammy."
Tammy growled quietly, " I'm not Tammy, you dodohead, I'm a growly, grrumpy,
grrrizzly bear. Grrrr." Laurie looked very surprised!
