On Saturday morning, Tommy walked into the kitchen. Then Tammy came in, also.
She was walking on her hands, as well as her feet. "Good morning, German
shepherd police dogs," said their mother.
The twins looked at each other, then together they said, "We are not German
shepherd police dogs, we are not pussy cats, we are not your little children.
We are great big fierce lions."
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā "Yee-owwwll !"
"Well," sighed their mother, "Whatever it is that lions eat is on your plates,
so enjoy your breakfast."
Tommy and Tammy said, "Yee-owwwll !"
"Yee-owwwl," they greeted their daddy, when he came to pick them up to go to
the zoo. "Yee-owwwll !," they said when they ate the apples and when he bought
them each a bag of popcorn.

After the zoo, when the waiter at the restaurant asked Tammy what she'd like
for lunch, she answered, "Yee-owwwll !."
When he asked Tommy what he'd like, Tommy's "Yee-owwwll !," was so loud that
the man at the next table asked him, "Does your stomach ache?"

"No, my sister and I are fierce lions, and we don't have stomach aches. We
have yee-owwwlls, but thank you for asking" said Tommy, and he yee- owwwlled
again!

"Oh?" said the man, "You're the first fierce lions that I've ever seen eating
in a restaurant."
When their daddy took them back home,

he kissed and hugged each one and said, "Goodbye, my great big fierce lions.
I'll see you next Saturday." Tammy and Tommy answered, Yee-owwwll !"
