  Bernie McDonald, host of the "Ireland in America" radio show on KDHX St.<br>
   Louis, is a self-taught, finger-style guitarist, composer and singer.<br>
 Barbara McDonald has been playing flute since she was seven years old, and<br>
   has performed with Bernie since the early 80's. Together they perform<br>
traditional dance tunes and songs, and are particularly well known for their<br>
lovely styling of the tunes of the 17th century blind Irish harper, Turlough<br>
                                  Carolan.<br>
<br>
The *St. Louis River Front Times* named Bernie and Barbara the best duet in<br>
                             St Louis for 2005.<br>
