ODE TO BORIS

A creator of beauty and light, Truth and other such
things,
My soul is impressed by his sight,
Demonstrating artistic might,
His power makes pawns of kings.
He abides in lands to us unknown,
A goddess to worship he gives,
He gives us bejeweled and golden thrones,
Upon which we set queens of our own,
But ours fade and his still lives.
The seas of beyond, he gives us to roam,
And beings to show us the way, Oh,
I follow his warriors, I wish not to come home,
Such beauty comes not from a magical tome,
But the god of Boris Vallejo.

CAVE OF TIME
Rathflaed DuNoir

I found a cave, a cave of time,
I was alone, this place was mine,
But as I thought in there one day,
He stepped inside and seemed to say,
"Welcome to my home, my friend
It's good to be back home again."
I jumped up scared, this man was here!
Yet he told me then,"You've nothing to fear."
And surprisingly (it amazed me),
I did calm down, I began to see,
This place was mine, but also his,
His shining smile, it showed me this.
We talked, and laughed, and joked awhile,
He turned to leave, I saw his smile,
But the last thing he said as he turned to me,
Was, "This place is yours, because you are me!"
