SHE'S AN
ANGEL: FOR ANGIE
I don't care what you say,
Anytime night or day,
For I say now to thee,
She's always an angel to me.
No matter the end,
She's always my friend,
She lets me be free,
She's always an angel to me.
You'll never be past,
I'm here to the last,
For I say now to thee,
You're always an angel to me.

APHRODITE
Thy beauty is a hundred suns,
And dazzled are mine eyes.
Men for thee hath fought and won,
You still can hear their cries,
They listened to your lies!
Thy countenance hath undone men,
Destroying is thy pride,
Men fought for you, remember when,
They fought for you and died?
You scorned them as they vied!
Many men have died for thee,
They championed your case,
Yet ever did another see,
The beauty of thy face,
None ever won that race.
Thy visage only rivaled by,
The pride that you must feel,
The Heavens are up in the sky,
But you are here and real,
The souls of men you steal.
Resplendent is thy cloak of love,
These mortals war for thee,
Thy beauty is that of a dove,
But is it love for thee?
Passion's all I see.
Beauteous I know art thou,
It is for thee I croon,
Thy passion will suffice for now,
But what when wanes the moon?
Who then will sing thy tune?
Thy features are upon my mind,
I search my soul for thee,
I know what it is I shall find,
Mortals, pity me!
I fell in love with thee!
Love thou art in essence full,
Yet light goes on it's way,
You once turned men to raging bulls,
But now they do not stay,
They leave and go away.
Thy light is now what it was not,
It once was full and gay,
To you, once, were tokens brought,
But men no more are fey,
They leave and go away.
Thy beauty once was uncompared,
You laughed as there you lay,
Men warred to glimpse thy golden hair,
But now they're gone today,
They left and went away.
Here lieth Aphrodite,
Who once was mortal not.
Men once vied for her favor.
She scorned what they had brought.
So they left her here to rot!
