: Just got a note from Graham McDonald of the Australian Folk Trust:

"Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport - your suggestion rings vague bells somewhere,
but I have never come across any collected versions.  Ron Edwards tells me
that there is a very rude version Pull Me Dungarees Down Sport, which came
later.  The tune is more or less traditional, and opening lines about the
stockman lying, dying come from the Dying Stockman/Cowboy/Soldier/Airman/etc
family of songs.  The rest is Rolf Harris', Ron suggests."
