Angela Jonas has been singing since childhood. She remembers singing country and traditional songs with her family. She heeded her mother's advice to take voice lessons and was introduced to the world of opera. She has been performing the music of Puccini, Mozart, and Verdi for fifteen years. She studied with Bill Doherty of the Central Florida Lyric Opera, and spent two years in New York City studying and performing. Her most distinguished privilege was being coached in the role of Madama Butterfly by Madame Licia Albanese of the Metropolitan Opera. Madame Albanese is one of the most renowned and respected Butterflys of all time. Angela is back in Orlando, once again singing with the Lyric Opera.
