Thanks You's First and foremost, Black Greek Soundz (BGS) and Big Mike Productions would like to thank all those who have in some way made it possible for use to bring our vision to light. A special thanks goes out to Christopher Atkins, without your hard work and dedication we would not have made it this far, it is truly because of your brotherhood that this dream is still a reality. To Cedric "Bubba Ω Gump" Williams, once again your support could not have come at a better time, I now realize that with faith in GOD your prayers will be answered. It is with all my heart that I extend a special thanks to the men of KAΨ who gave this CD a voice, all the NUPES from Texas; Yogi, Anthony, Jarvis, Tyrone, Cedric, Jason, Kristopher. I can't forget about all the great Alumni brothers of KAΨ from Tuskeegee University; Paul, Rayford, James, Roy, R. Lorenzo, John, Lou, Houston, Alfred, Willie, Garfield, Lovis, Raymond, Joe, John Coleman, Palmer, and of course Billy Abrams. Last, but not least a special thanks to my newly found brother Kalind, you really came through, much love...always! It's because of your belief in me, and this project that we all have embarked on a new friendship. Without your contribution, as well as all of the NUPES (that sang on the CD), this project would have fallen on deaf ears. I would also like to thank Robert (Bob) & Jean Williams, it is quite apparent that the strong sense of character that Cedric posses, comes from a loving mother and a strong father figure. Mr. Bob Ω Williams, not only are you a father, but a fellow Brother of Omega Psi Phi. To Marie Riley and outstanding mother and grandmother. I'm very thankful to you, for having raised me to be both entrepreneurial and ambitious in all my endeavors. Brother Marty Ω, all I can say is please keep your eyes and ears open, you are our shield. We rely on your bravery, and your courage to keep our house in order. Last but not least special thanks to Eddie Head at Maximedia Studios, you and your staff are a class act thanks for everything. A very special thanks to all whom I may have overlooked, not intentionally, love always. To all, we send a very GOD filled thanks from, Cedric "Bubba Ω Gump" Williams, J Michael "J-Rome" (Big Ω Mike) Riley and Christopher Atkins.
Brief History Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on the campus of Indiana University on January 5, 1911. Originally chartered and incorporated Kappa Alpha Nyu on April 15, 1911, the name was officially changed to Kappa Alpha Psi on April 15, 1915. The founders sought a formula that would immediately raise the sights of black collegians stimulating them to reach accomplishments higher than they had imagined. With achievement as its purpose, Kappa Alpha Psi began uniting college men of culture, patriotism and honor in a bond of fraternity. Subsequently, chapters spread in succession to University of Illinois, the University of Iowa, and Wilberforce University campuses. By 1919, the Kappa Alpha Psi experience had generated serious interest among black college degree holders to form Alumni Chapters. The Fraternity is predominantly African-American whose fundamental purpose is achievement. Kappa Alpha Psi seeks to train its membership, particularly undergraduates, for leadership roles in their respective communities and the attainment of a high degree of excellence in their academic pursuits.
