Pua Pua circa WWII We'll remember Colonel Edson, how he led us to the fight We'll remember Major Chambers, how he fought with all his might We'll remember the Raiders as we marched into the fray And we'll remember Pua Pua when we're back in the U. We'll remember the Captains, they were flighty as a flea We'll remember the Lieutenants, they were goofy as can be And we'll remember the Sergeants for they always led the way And we'll remember Pua Pua when we're back in the U. A We'll remember August seventh when we landed on the beach We'll remember Tulagi and the Japs we had to reach We'll remember that mop-up while the mortars banged away And we'll remember Pua Pua when we're back in the U.
