L'ape e la serpe, spesso suggon l'istesso umore
Ma l'alimento istesso cangiando in lor si va.
Che delle serpe in seno, il fior si fa veleno
In sen dell'ape il fiore, dolce liquor si fa.
{The bee and the snake both thrive on the same
food, but it transforms itself differently in each;
in the snake, flowers turn to venom, but in the
bee, they turn into sweet liquor).
