Although the albums credit the Wright Record Co. of Meriden, Conn. trade sources in 1951 cite an address at 47 West 63rd St., New York City. Curiously, identically-numbered Royale releases are assigned to Todd Record Distributors, 27 Nelson Ave., Jersey City, N.J. LP-79 is the highest reported number. The Varsity/Royale 6000 series was introduced just after the initial run of this series and both were available for some time. Updated 10/3/2001
